I saw the debate! Veerrrrry interesting... I loved the 2 seconds they talked about healthcare. I'm super excited to see the vice presidential debate! I wonder what quick witted Sarah Palin will say... I can barely contain my excitement!
I thought that all around it was a very nice debate, with only minimal amounts of political double speak and question evasion (Obama more than McCain, naturally). Nice contrast as compared to the Dem / Rep Primary debates because we actually got to see policy differences. Also, the seriousness was kicked up a bit, which I thought led to a much more issue based debate.
Interesting question for the last two debates: how would you best explain the fundamental shift in McCain's health care plan to the common voter in 1 minute or less without appearing "aloof"?
That being said, I was giddy when Obama got some zings in on McCain.
